A professional visual artist, and a 2001 Fine Art graduate of Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, Lynsey specialises in painting. She creates images of flora in oils on canvas, which are based on her photography from local gardens and woodland areas. Her work is held in public and private collections within the UK, Ireland, mainland Europe and across the USA.
