Free Digital Advice Sessions in the Maker_Spaces
The Maker_Spaces are library based and free to use for library members; each has a range of creative digital technology including photo editing, graphic design and animation programmes, and 3D printers.
Make an appointment with a member of the team to discuss what you can do in the Maker_Spaces, get a tutorial in a specific skill, or simply use equipment that you’re already familiar with. More information can be found on www.culturepk.org.uk/maker-space and you can contact the team on firstname.lastname@example.org.
There’s also the opportunity to join an online Meet the Maker_Space event hosted by GrowBiz on Thursday 29 October from 5-6pm. An awareness event providing an introduction to the different digital resources and guidance available, and tips on how your business can benefit from them.
If you’re interested in learning about how you can use these creative resources to develop your digital skills, or simply realise some projects you’ve been working on at home but need access to specialist equipment, this event will be of interest to you.
Perth and Kinross libraries have 5 Maker_Spaces that are free to use; each has a wide range of digital resources including Photoshop, graphic design programmes, and 3D printers and staff are available to help get you started, or help-out with your project if you need it.
