Traces: Perthshire Visual Arts Forum at Platform

Perthshire Visual Arts Forum (PVAF) has been representing artists across Perth & Kinross and beyond for over a decade. As a grassroots organization, lead by artists for artists, PVAF network nationally and internationally, connecting artists creating opportunities, planning inspiring events and delivering collaborative programmes of creative engagement.
As part of their 2017 programme, PVAF are participating in the Platform Festival and are taking over the intimate setting of Fair Maid’s House, home to The Royal Scottish Geographical Society to show a selection of diverse and creative works from the 25 March – 1 April, it’s free to visit and open to all.
Based loosely on the theme Traces and the venue, the exhibition will showcase the wealth of creativity by PVAF members in a variety of media, an opportunity to see Perthshire through the eyes of an artist and be inspired!
You’re invited to come along on the opening day, to meet and hear from the artists who will be talking about their work from 11 o’clock on Saturday 25 April. For those who’d prefer to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty, PVAF are running a collaborative art event to close their exhibition starting 2 o’clock, Saturday 1 April, which will run to 4 o’clock.
