Have fun ‘Drawing & Undrawing’ in Killiecrankie Hall, Sat 17 Dec

On Saturday December 17th in the Killiecrankie Hall, you’re invited to go along and participate in “Drawing & Undrawing”, a Collaborative Art event presented by Briony Barr. No previous art experience is required and you can come and go as you like between noon and 4pm, after doing your bit of course!
- Briony has presented her unique Collaborative Art programme in many parts of Australia
- It is an event for ALL ages starting with an introduction around noon. (young children to be accompanied by parent or guardian)
- Please bring a cushion or pillow to kneel on, plus a pair of scissors.
- Refreshments will be provided.
- This is a FREE event.
Briony Barr is a conceptual artist whose practice investigates individual and collaborative rule-based drawing. She regularly collaborates with scientists, as well as large groups of people to generate artworks. In an on-going collaboration with physicist Andrew Melatos, she makes large-scale, expanded drawings (involving 20 or more participants) exploring the evolution of complex systems (Drawing on Complexity). Briony earned her BFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York City and MFA from the Victorian College of Arts in Melbourne, Australia. She has exhibited in solo and group shows in Australia, Mexico, America and South Korea. In 2014, Briony became an honorary fellow of Melbourne University’s School of Physics. She is also Co-Director of Scale Free Network: art-science collaborative and Art Director of the Small Friends Books series.
