NOSFERATU LIVE featuring Dmytro Morykit at Strathearn Artspace – Sat 30th Jan 2016

January 6, 2016 by Perthshire Creates

Dmytro Morykit  is a composer of contemporary classical original music for film, theatre, dance and public performance.  He will be performing his NOSFERATU LIVE concert at the Strathearn Artspace  in Crieff on Saturday 30th January, the first of several dates which takes him to venues across Scotland and Northern Ireland including Glasgow and Belfast.

F. W. Murnau’s landmark vampire film Nosferatu, is a 1922 adaptation of Bram Stoker’s Dracula. The striking imagery gives an innate sense of the sinister which is timeless. Dmytro Morykit, has added an additional layer of drama and depth with his haunting new score: a multi-layered classic to reflect the complexity of this enduring story. When played live alongside the film, it provides a sensational evening of image and sound.

Various concerts are scheduled for both the Nosferatu Live and the Metropolis Live, full Concert Details and further details can be found on Dmytro’s website.

Dmytro was one of the performers at the Perthshire Creates launch event last June.
